2003, 16.2h,  Premium German Trakehner Stallion (Axis ex Herzlani/Kostolany)

Hirtentanz is arguably the most famous young Trakehner alive, approved by the Trakehner, Holsteiner and Oldenburg German Breeding Associations.  Termed by Lars Gehrmann as a ‘jumping wonder’, he bred just fewer than 100 mares last year in Europe and the United States.

Semen: Terms of Purchase, Hirtentanz frozen semen is in limited supply. The price of the semen is $3,000 for two doses for registration of one foal. On completion of the agreement, 2 doses will be sent to you. If the mare fails to come into foal, two more will be sent for no added charge. There is no Live Foal Guarantee. Breeding will be only to mares approved by David Beattie and/or Kevin O’Meara.
